History: The Evolution
The history of this group of companies begins in 1992 when a group of engineers identified the opportunity to bring together their expertise into an engineering company specialized in the areas of geodesy, maps, cadastre and topography.
The professionalism, the high technical capacity of their personnel and their ethical values impelled Sistemas Cartograficos to position themselves as one of the first companies in its operational area rendering services to the oil industry in eastern Venezuela.
By 1995, international companies began to operate old oil fields in eastern Venezuela. Several of these companies required the services of Sistemas Cartograficos, C.A finding an opportune answer and a high technical capacity. This motivated the clients to extend requisitions in the area of multidisciplinary engineering services. This allowed the identification of a new opportunity to extend the business venture toward multidisciplinary engineering.
In 1996, a new company was founded to offer integral multidisciplinary engineering consulting services, specializing in execution of projects under a scheme of integral development.
After the year 2001, Sisteca Consultores, C.A had reached a level of renown excellence. Using highly qualified personnel combined with the implementation of the best and most sophisticated technological tools consolidated Sisteca Consultores’ position as a company leader in its areas of service. The development of a quality assurance system guided by ISO 9001 norms allowed Sisteca Consultores to obtain this prestigious international certification for the development of basic and detail engineering projects. Once Sisteca Consultores gained regional recognition for the finest engineering practice, a strategic plan was developed to expand the business to the United States of America.
In 2005, Americas Energy Company, LLC (AEC) was incorporated as an affiliated company of Sisteca Consultores, C.A in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Sisteca Consultores transferred invaluable experience, know how, performance excellence, and quality procedures to AEC. Gaining the trust of its clients by providing excellence in service has allowed AEC to penetrate the difficult U.S market.
Since January 2009 Americas Energy Company, LLC has been reorganized and its name has changed to Americas Energy Company, Inc. More than a shareholders and name change, AEC is boosting an intense image campaign and extension of its portfolio of clients. AEC strongly believes that in times of crisis, critical opportunities develop. AEC is working toward taking advantage of these opportunities and achieving its goals as an American engineering firm.
